A recent Angus Reid survey reveals that 50% of Canadians struggle to find a family doctor or have given up, a significant increase from 2015. The survey, which included 4,000 adults, found that 31% find it difficult to get appointments, with Quebec having the highest percentage of residents without a family doctor at 31%. Additionally, 70% believe the quality of provincial health care has worsened over the past decade, and 71% express dissatisfaction with their provincial government’s performance on health care. Access to specialists and emergency care is also a concern, with over half reporting difficulties in obtaining necessary services.
