Waiwera Thermal Springs  Million Revival Plan Announced

A $50 million redevelopment plan for the Waiwera thermal springs site aims to transform it into a public wellness retreat featuring 28 pools heated to 36-42°C. Developed by Brandon Batagol of Maruia Hot Springs, the project will include a family pool, cafe, reflexology walk, spa, and wellness hub in a serene environment. The Waiwera Thermal Springs Property LP will apply for resource consent from Auckland Council. The new facility intends to attract visitors back to the area.
