More than 1.5 million Singaporeans will receive cash payouts of up to S$850 under the Goods and Services Tax Voucher (GSTV) scheme starting August 6, with eligibility criteria adjusted to support lower- and middle-income individuals. Additionally, around 690,000 seniors will get MediSave top-ups between S$150 and S$450, with a total of S$1.5 billion disbursed in this exercise.

Explain It To Me Like I’m 5: SINGAPORE is giving money to over 1.5 million people to help them pay for things, with some getting up to S$850, and older people also getting extra money for their health savings.
