GSB Tankers and Asahi Tanker have formed the Asia Chemical Tanker Alliance (ACTA) to oversee chemical tankers from 10,000 to 15,000 dwt, based in Singapore and Tokyo. Initially managing four tankers, the goal is to expand to 10 in the next two years. Philip Eriksson of GSB Tankers sees the collaboration as a strategic move to tap into a promising market for future growth.
