Rockstar Games has reportedly fired 30 to 40 employees in the UK and Canada, a move the Independent Workers’ Union of Great Britain (IWGB) claims is an attempt to prevent unionization. The company stated the dismissals were due to misconduct, while IWGB accused Rockstar of blatant union busting. The union vowed to fight for the reinstatement of the affected members. Meanwhile, Grand Theft Auto VI is set for release on May 26, 2026, anticipated to be a major success.
