The 18th annual Gidgegannup Small Farm Field Day, held on May 25, attracted 6,000 visitors and featured a blend of educational talks, food delights, and expert advice on small property gardening. Despite brief rain showers, attendees enjoyed the theme “Sexy Soils” and participated in various activities, including a Slow Olive Festival and a Honey Festival, showcasing local produce and competitions. Highlighted events included the alpaca expo with youth handling competitions and the announcement of winners in olive oil and honey contests.
