The most popular baby names in New Zealand showed little change last year, with Noah remaining the top boys’ name for the third consecutive year, shared by 244 boys. For girls, Isla was the leading name, registered for 179 girls, maintaining a position in the top three since 2016. Luca and Charlotte followed as the second most popular names for boys and girls, respectively. Olivia also re-entered the top 10 for girls, a trend since 1994.
