Georgian protesters block road to port: reports

Anti-government protesters in Georgia have blocked access to the main commercial port in Poti, protesting the ruling party’s suspension of EU talks. The port, owned by APM Terminals, handles 80% of the country’s container traffic. Prime Minister Kobakhidze praised police for cracking down on protesters, while outgoing President Zourabichvili refuses to step down, deepening the constitutional crisis in the country.
