An assistant principal at Free Home Elementary School in Georgia, Courtney Janell Shaw, 47, was arrested for shoplifting around $1,000 worth of merchandise from Walmart using a stacking method at self-checkout kiosks. Shaw, who has over two decades of educational experience, was charged with felony shoplifting after being identified in surveillance footage and later matched to the thefts via a driver’s license database. Following her arrest, she was placed on administrative leave pending investigations. Authorities noted that Shaw’s vehicles were identified in connection with the incidents.
