SINGAPORE: The Singapore Democratic Party (SDP) criticized the current influx of foreigners as “unsustainable” and called for a clear immigration plan from Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. SDP leader Chee Soon Juan emphasized that the party does not oppose immigration but seeks a more responsible policy, citing concerns over mental health, cost of living, and overcrowding. SDP, contesting in four constituencies, aims to prioritize Singaporeans in the workforce while respecting all individuals in the country.
