PSP founder Tan Cheng Bock to retire from electoral politics, not leaving party

SINGAPORE: Progress Singapore Party (PSP) founder and chairman Tan Cheng Bock announced his retirement from electoral politics while continuing to support the party. The PSP faced disappointing results in the recent General Election, losing all contested seats and its Non-Constituency MP positions. Despite this setback, Tan expressed hope for future leadership by younger members and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to return in five years.
