SINGAPORE: Law and Home Affairs Minister K Shanmugam revealed efforts to persuade former MP Louis Ng to remain in politics were unsuccessful as he steps down for personal reasons. Ng, known for advocating animal welfare and environmental issues, expressed that leaving was a difficult decision but feels it’s time to return to the nonprofit sector after ten years as an MP.
