GE Vernova, a spinoff of General Electric, is looking to deploy small modular reactors across the developed world to meet rising electricity demand and reduce carbon emissions. The company’s BWRX-300 reactor aims to simplify design and construction, potentially cutting costs to $2-4 billion compared to $10-15 billion for larger plants. GE Vernova is targeting $2 billion in annual revenue by the mid-2030s, with plans to ship three to four reactors per year to meet demand in the U.S., Canada, the UK, and Europe.
