Israeli bombardment and ground operations in Gaza have left entire neighbourhoods in ruins, with critical infrastructure such as hospitals, water, and electricity systems devastated. The United Nations warns that rebuilding could take over 350 years if the blockade continues, with an estimated 69 percent of structures damaged or destroyed. The war has resulted in $18.5bn in damages, with 50 million tonnes of rubble needing to be cleared before any reconstruction can begin.
