Gaza child dies while awaiting Israeli approval for medical treatment
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

A two-year-old Palestinian boy, Nidal Abu Rabeea, died waiting for Israeli approval to leave Gaza for medical treatment after 14 months of delays. His mother, Iman Hamdouna, stated that the family had medical referral documents, but the healthcare crisis in Gaza, worsened by Israeli restrictions, left hospitals unable to provide necessary care. Since May 2024, over 1,360 patients have died while awaiting medical evacuation, highlighting the dire situation for thousands of Palestinians needing urgent medical attention.
