Gaza ceasefire to begin Sunday morning, after Israeli approval

A ceasefire in the Gaza war will begin Sunday morning at 0630 GMT, mediated by Qatar following Israel’s cabinet approval of the truce and hostage-prisoner release deal. The ceasefire had previously been unclear, with Israel stating no Palestinian prisoners would be freed before late Sunday afternoon. The truce comes after Israeli bombardment killed at least 113 people in Gaza, with the agreement to release hostages and prisoners as part of the deal.
