Former Wales international Gavin Henson returned to grassroots rugby, playing for Pencoed against Heol-y-Cyw. Despite kicking a penalty and a conversion, the 42-year-old was unable to prevent his team from a 30-10 defeat in the Division Two West Central league. This marked Henson’s first rugby match in five years, drawing a crowd of over 500 fans to support his boyhood club.
