A severe weather event in northwest Indiana caused major damage to Frankie Woods McCullough Academy, resulting in the closure of the school on Thursday and Friday. The storm tore off parts of the school’s roof, with officials confirming substantial damage to the gymnasium. Despite the destruction, no injuries were reported, and plans are being made to assess the damage and potentially relocate students following an early start to spring break.
