Three men, twins Benjamin and Thomas Richardson and Carl Messen, were jailed for importing 91 million canisters of nitrous oxide into the UK between 2016 and 2018, using fake catering companies and laundering up to £16.7 million. The trio received sentences of six years and two months, five years and eight months, and three years and two months, respectively, for conspiracy to import a psychoactive substance and money laundering.
