Security agencies are searching for two TRF terrorists, Hurera and Khubaib, who targeted both non-local and local laborers at the Gagangir tunnel worksite, resulting in six deaths and eleven injuries. The attack, planned by terrorists who had recently returned from Pakistan, was aimed at causing maximum casualties and involved a recce of the Z-Morh tunnel site. The TRF, a group linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba, claimed responsibility for the attack, which disrupted the construction of a strategically important tunnel providing all-weather connectivity to Ladakh.
