Commerce media company Criteo has revealed shopping trends from Ramadan 2024 in Southeast Asia, showing a three per cent increase in retail sales overall, with Indonesia seeing a 74 per cent surge. Religious items, apparel, and food categories experienced growth, while late-night shopping and early campaign launches were key consumer behaviors. Brands are advised to plan promotions around peak shopping days and personalize offerings to optimize retail strategies for future Ramadan seasons.
