Three Algerian social media influencers have been arrested in France for posting videos inciting violence, with the latest arrest in Montpellier following previous detentions in Grenoble and Brest. The arrests come amid strained relations between Paris and Algeria, highlighted by recent tensions over the Western Sahara region and the detention of French-Algerian writer Boualem Sansal. The influencers face charges of expressing support for acts of terror online and will be tried in French courts, with one trial scheduled for February 24 in Brest and another in Grenoble on March 5.
