Fremantle champion Matthew Pavlich emerges as leading contender to take over as AFLPA CEO

Former Fremantle captain Matthew Pavlich is a top candidate to replace Paul Marsh as CEO of the AFL Players’ Association, which is currently without a full-time leader following Marsh’s departure in May. While Pavlich is highly regarded, James Gallagher, a North Melbourne executive and former AFLPA member, is considered the frontrunner for the position.
