Former Chelsea and England midfielder Frank Lampard has been appointed head coach of Championship club Coventry City on a two-and-a-half-year deal, taking over from the sacked Mark Robins. Lampard’s fifth managerial job sees him lead Coventry, currently 17th in the Championship table, with his first match against Cardiff on Saturday after working in the media since his last role at Chelsea in May 2023.
