Trump administration violated the law by withholding some Head Start funds, congressional watchdog finds
The Government Accountability Office (GAO) reported that the Trump administration violated the Impoundment Control Act by withholding congressionally appropriated funds for the Head Start program, significantly reducing fund disbursement between January and April 2025.
