Police suspect foul play in the case of Brendan Breen, a Melbourne man missing since April 12, 2012, following a review of his case nearly 14 years later. Despite initially believing he vanished voluntarily, investigators noted he has not accessed his bank accounts or phone and missed his daughter’s funeral in 2018, which family found uncharacteristic. Breen, known to have multiple aliases and a criminal history, remains unaccounted for, prompting police to appeal for information and re-examine leads involving his associates. Detective Inspector Dave Dunstan emphasized the ongoing investigation and the belief that individuals with knowledge of Breen’s disappearance still exist.
