Former President Bill Clinton was admitted to Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC, for testing and observation after developing a fever, according to his spokesman. Clinton, 78, had quadruple bypass heart surgery in 2004 and two stents inserted in 2010. He was hospitalized in 2021 for an infection, but remains in good spirits and hopes to be home by Christmas.

Teenager dead in island shark attack
A teenage girl died after being bitten by a shark while swimming at Woorim Beach in Bribie Island, Queensland. The victim suffered life-threatening injuries to her upper body and passed away shortly after 5 pm. Queensland Police are preparing a report for the coroner, and on average, there are 20 shark incidents nationwide each year, according to the Australian Shark-Incident Database. Full Article
