The Community Park District of La Grange Park recently purchased property for its first new park in several decades, focusing on tree health and management. The .86 acre property, acquired from The Village Church, will be developed into a passive park with walking paths and natural elements, funded in part by a grant from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
