A former law enforcement officer, Tiffany Lee Griffith, was arrested and charged with aggravated child abuse for allegedly holding a 6-year-old boy underwater at a Florida hotel. The incident occurred after the boy dunked Griffith’s son underwater, leading her to confront and forcefully submerge the child. Griffith, who previously worked as a school resource officer and spoke to students about bullying and internet safety, was released on $20,000 bond after being booked into the Osceola County Jail. The Punta Gorda Police Department, Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, and Gaylord Hotels have not commented on the incident.
