Former Canadiens captain Shea Weber expressed excitement about being inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, but admitted that he wishes he was still playing instead. He suffered a fractured left foot during the 2017-18 season and continued to play through the injury before eventually being shut down. Despite his Hall of Fame career, Weber still harbors a desire to be on the ice playing the game he loves.
