Forensic expert checking ‘pit’ at Beaumont excavation

A forensic expert is excavating a two-metre-long pit at a site in Adelaide to determine if the Beaumont children were buried there after disappearing in 1966. Organisers suspect Harry Phipps of kidnapping and murdering the children. Despite digging 3000 cubic metres of soil, the search continues with hopes of solving Australia’s most unsolved case.
