Ford Motor is recalling nearly 273,000 vehicles, including certain F-150 Lightning BEV trucks (2022-2026), Mustang Mach-E cars (2024-2026), and Maverick pickups (2025-2026), due to a parking function issue that may lead to unintended rollaways. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reported that the integrated parking module may fail to engage. Notifications will be sent to owners on February 2, 2026, and the faulty software can be updated remotely or by dealers. This follows a prior recall of over 197,000 Mustang Mach-E vehicles for door latch problems.
