Fonterra’s board has been reduced to nine members, with six farmer-elected and three appointed directors. Three farmer-elected directors, including chair Peter McBride, retired by rotation, with McBride and John Nicholls re-elected unopposed. Appointed director Clinton Dines retired after nine years, and Alistair Field was appointed in his place. At the annual meeting, McBride thanked the retiring directors for their contributions, stating that the Co-op is in good health and receiving positive feedback from farmers.
