Focused learner did not expect six distinctions

Sibongile Simoyi, an 18-year-old student from Tlakula Secondary School, achieved six distinctions in the 2024 National Senior Certificate exams by setting priorities, eliminating distractions, and using various study strategies. Despite not studying with partners, she went through over 20 past papers to excel in subjects like isiZulu HL, business studies, and economics. Now planning to pursue BCom Economics and Econometrics at the University of Johannesburg, she advises consistency and commitment to achieve academic goals and enjoy the rewards of hard work.
