An off-duty flight attendant, Vanessa Miles, has filed a US$75-million lawsuit against Delta Air Lines following a crash at Toronto Pearson International Airport on February 17, 2025, claiming the airline’s negligence regarding pilot training and safety procedures contributed to the incident. The crash, which left her injured and unconscious while surrounded by jet fuel, involved a Bombardier CRJ-900 that rolled over upon landing, injuring over 20 of the 80 passengers and crew.
