During the first half of 2025, Poland holds the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union, focusing on strengthening European security in seven dimensions and promoting space technologies in collaboration with other industries. EU-funded research projects during this presidency include EROSS SC for on-orbit servicing, LUWEX for water extraction from Moon dust, ORCHIDE for optimizing on-board data processing, SALTO for a reusable launcher, and THEIA for enhancing the Copernicus Security Service, all contributing to advancing space technologies and fostering innovation within the EU Space Programme.
