The Royal Australian College of GPs has launched a new Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural and Health Training Framework, led by Indigenous experts, with a focus on improving health outcomes for Indigenous people through 12 guiding principles. The framework aims to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander values and knowledge in GP education nation-wide, with a goal of 100% participation in cultural and health education among GPs in training.
