A firefighter died and five people were injured in Honolulu after flames engulfed a building, causing the roof to partly collapse. The 25-year-old firefighter was killed, with four others hospitalized, as officials investigated the cause of the blaze. Mayor Rick Blangiardi described it as a “somber moment” following a recent fireworks explosion that claimed four lives, including a 3-year-old boy.
