At least 25 people, including tourists, died in a fire at a nightclub in Arpora, Goa, early Sunday, according to the state’s chief minister, Pramod Sawant. The blaze, caused by a gas cylinder explosion, occurred just after midnight when around 100 people were on the dancefloor, leading many to rush to the kitchen below and become trapped. Six injured individuals are in stable condition, and all bodies have been recovered. The fire has since been extinguished.
