Around 1,500 workers, mainly from the morning shift, were present at the Hosur facility when the fire erupted on Saturday. The Tata Electronics facility remained cordoned off on Sunday, with a team of local police on-site and security not allowing access to the factory. Strict guidelines were in place, only permitting entry with permission.
