Tragic Climbing Accident in North Cascades National Park
Three climbers from Renton, Washington, aged 36, 47, and 63, died after a fall while descending a steep gully near North Early Winters Spire in North Cascades National Park. A fourth climber managed to self-extricate and notify authorities. Initial investigations suggest that the accident occurred due to a failed anchor during rappelling, with search and rescue teams assisting in recovering the deceased climbers from the mountainous terrain.
