More than half of Britons would support a farmers strike, poll shows

In a new poll by Ipsos, it was found that over half of Britons would support farmers if they went on strike, showing similar levels of support as seen for nurses and ambulance workers. The survey revealed that 55% of respondents would back farmers in a strike, with half believing they are being mistreated by the government. Save British Farming founder, Liz Webster, expressed gratitude for the public’s support towards farmers, criticizing PM Keir Starmer for unpopular decisions without a mandate.
