Holly Pattison, 36, crashed her car while driving under the influence with her 6-year-old daughter improperly secured in a booster seat, resulting in critical injuries to the child and significant time off work for the other driver. She was sentenced in Hamilton District Court for driving causing injury with an excess blood alcohol level and ill-treatment of a child after the December 15 incident.
