Australian driver Jack Doohan revealed in the latest season of Netflix’s Drive To Survive that he received death threats and encountered armed men before being dropped by F1 team Alpine after six races into last season. Doohan described the threats as “pretty heavy stuff” and mentioned receiving emails warning him to leave the team or face serious consequences. Following his departure from Alpine, Doohan became a reserve driver for Haas, while also facing online abuse and harassment along with his family.
