Exiled Tibetan political leader honored with democracy medal — Radio Free Asia

The exiled Tibetan political leader, Lobsang Sangay, has been honored with the prestigious Democracy Service Medal by the National Endowment for Democracy. Sangay, who currently serves as the president of the Tibetan government-in-exile, was recognized for his tireless efforts in promoting democracy and human rights in Tibet. The award ceremony took place in Washington, D.C. and was attended by several prominent political figures and activists.
