Former Spanish Football Association chief Luis Rubiales testified in court that he was ‘totally sure’ player Jenni Hermoso consented to a kiss on the lips after her team won the World Cup, despite her claim she ‘never’ agreed to it. Rubiales faces charges of sexual assault and coercion for allegedly downplaying the kiss, which led to his resignation and a three-year FIFA ban. Expert testimony and video evidence were presented in court to support both sides of the case.
