Former Catholic priest Rodolfo Martinez-Guevara pleaded no contest to possessing over 600 images of child sexual abuse material, including videos of prepubescent minors, and special allegations related to the crime. Following his arrest in 2023, he was removed from the ministry by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and the Missionaries of the Holy Spirit. Martinez-Guevara is set to be sentenced on December 9 for his crimes, which involved a large quantity of contraband and the exploitation of vulnerable victims.
