EU Parliament delegation to attend COP29 in Baku

The EU Parliament delegation, led by MEPs Lídia PEREIRA and Mohammed CHAHIM, will attend COP29 in Baku, advocating for a fair, multi-source climate finance goal post-2025. The delegation will engage with various stakeholders and push for a new collective purpose on climate finance that is socially fair, based on a variety of sources, and urges prominent economies to financially support global climate action. Additionally, the resolution calls for the EU to enhance green diplomacy, promote carbon pricing mechanisms, and support other countries in their climate efforts.
