EU Council’ Charles Michel emphasizes reforms for Georgia’s EU path

President of the European Council, Charles Michel, emphasized the importance of Georgia continuing to deepen its reforms in line with democratic values as a candidate country. Following a meeting with Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili, Michel stressed that reforms, the rule of law, and democratic principles are crucial for Georgia’s EU path. He stated that the decision on Georgia’s future must be made within the country, by adhering to these guidelines.
