An emperor penguin found malnourished in southwest Australia, far from its Antarctic home, is being cared for by wildlife expert Carol Biddulph. The adult male penguin, discovered on a beach in Denmark, is receiving chilled water mist treatments to help adjust to the unfamiliar climate. Efforts are focused on rehabilitating the 1-meter-tall penguin, with potential plans for its return to Antarctica being considered.
